Hi. When will the Sprouted Kitchen book be available in the UK iBook Store?
Thanks
Mark
Mark, the book is available for preorder on Kindle through Amazon.co.uk
I've just placed my order. I'm super excited for this book!
Will you be doing any book tours in Canada.....Vancouver, BC by chance, since you're so close when in Portland :) ??!!
Lovely book! Any chance of a "swing" through the South, and come to Atlanta?
@Camille and @Susan - hi! I would love to make my way both directions, but no plans as of yet. The budget is pretty small for travel, so we aren't going too far unfortunately. Stay tuned and I'll let you know if anything changes!
Darn! Best of luck with this adventure!
Susan
I've been axiously awaiting the cookbook which just came today. I can't wait to try the recipes...they look & sound delicious! And the photography...very elegant. Congrats!
Sara, I'm loving reading through your cookbook getting inspired on our lazy Labor Day Sunday. Quick question - in the recipe for braised white beans and leeks, you mention that you rinse the leeks to get out the grit and then slice them. Is there a special way that you do this? I've only ever sliced them and then soaked them to get the dirt out, but your way seems much easier (and less messy). I realize this may be a bit of an amateur question, but I was just curious. Again, big congrats on your success - both on the blog and the cookbook. It's amazing how you took the risk on sharing your wonderful talent with us and hopefully the return on your investment is great! :]
Congrats on the interview in Whole Living magazine. Read it and thought "what a great way to be featured"! Look forward to reading more and more!
I just received my copy of the book and I am soo happy!! I pre-ordered it I think the very first day it was available for pre order and I have been excitedly waiting for it to come. And it did just a few days before my b-day. what a great surprise!
Sara/Hugh, it looks just as gorgous and full of yumm that I imagined it would be!!
thank you both!!
Since I couldn't wait for you to make it to Vancouver, I treated myself to your book today. It's as beautiful as I expected it to be & in the 1/2 hour that I allowed myself to skim through this afternoon, I know I will use this book time & time again. Thank you for your inspriration, amazing photography & for the many delicious meals to come. I still hope that you'll make it to my beautiful city one day & that you will be able to sign my book :)!!
@ Amanda - not amateur, totally valid! I cut mine in half length wise and just use my hands, under running water to rinse the dirt out, then set them on a dish towel to dry a bit. I read a tip from Ina Garten that she cuts them dirty, rinses and then dries them in a salad spinner, which sounds like a good idea too! Hope this helps!
@Camille - oh thank you! I am glad you treated yourself. I appreciate the compliment, means a lot. Hope to meet you one day as well. Maybe next book ;)
Few words to thank you for the great White Beans and Leeks recipe in your book. I tried it and was super good ! Here's a link with a picture :

I'll try some new ones soon!

Just wanted to say that I just love your cookbook. Rarely do I find one where I want to make everything. Everything I've made so far has been fantastic!
I just got through eating a bowl of the most delicious beans and leeks. As vegetarians, my husband and I crave well-prepared and flavorful whole foods - thank you for this book and these recipes!
Love following your blog. Thankyou for all the time and energy you put into it. Will be buying this book! :)
Love the photos
I bought the book and have made several recipes in it. Last night I made the scallops with black quinoa with pomegranates and fennel, topped with a pomegranate gastrique. It is a stunning-looking meal, and is absolutely delicious. I like to cook and have been cooking a long time, but my husband said this was the best meal I've ever made. He's a good cook too, so that's quite a compliment. Everything in this book has turned out to be exceptionally delicious and is eye-candy too. Thank you for writing the book, the blog and for publishing such beautiful photos that inspire me to try new things.
